Spiraling Staircases photos by Matthias Haker
Matthias is renown across the land for his Ultra Deep Field photography, but while parsing through his more-real-than-real images, I was particularly enamored with his series of staircases that seem to harness the power of the Golden Ratio to burrow wormholes into the Universe next door or at least down the block.

Bristol Street Art
If I’ve learned anything in life, it’s that art is everywhere you look… in scribbles on a wall, a properly-timed “that’s what she said” joke, and especially in the defacement of public property. This is no exception in the streets of Bristol, UK, presented here in handicap signs, yarn-bomb, and inspirational graffiti.

Watching Paint Dry by Phyllis Toburen
Did anyone ever stop to think that the old euphemism for boredom about “watching the paint dry” was ill-informed? Because Phyllis’ extreeeeeeeeeme close-up photos of painting drying looks like the surface of an alien planet, curling and cracking for millennia unspoilt by humans.
